Job Opportunity: Garage Mechanic

Position Details:

• High school diploma and CDL required at the time of or within 6 months of hire.
• Must be a journeyman mechanic with at least four years of experience working on gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, lifts, and various construction equipment.
• Must pass highway alcohol and drug testing.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on motorized and non-motorized equipment and components.
• Overhauling mechanical or hydraulic systems on various heavy machinery such as booms, derricks, and cranes.
• Repairing pumps, cylinders, valves, and other hydraulic and mechanical components.
• Maintaining and repairing small engines, generators, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric tools.
• Driving vehicles and equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, and keeping detailed records.
• Welding, fabricating, and painting vehicles and equipment.
• Leading, training, and instructing team members.
