Location: Northeast Region. Qualified applicants from other areas may be considered. 100% Remote with nearly 100% domestic business travel
Reports to: Service Manager
Standard Schedule: Monday – Friday, with hours varying; flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and some evenings required
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Compensation: $27 - $46 per hour
Job Responsibilities: The Service Technician–Mechanic travels to customer locations to install, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and printing issues on Koenig & Bauer printing presses. The technician interacts directly with customers, listening to their needs and asking probing questions to prepare for installations or service calls. Effective communication of technical information and resolutions to customers with varying technical knowledge is essential. The technician must develop action plans to address customer issues, emphasizing quality work (fix it right the first time), efficiency to minimize downtime, and cost control.
