Job summary

The Door Doctor of South Florida Inc. is seeking an experienced Garage Door & Entry Door Installer to professionally install both garage door systems and residential and commercial entry doors across South Florida.

Responsibilities include installing doors and operators, training assistants, and documenting jobs using company apps. Candidates must have 1+ year of installation experience, a valid license, and own basic tools.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of professional installation experience.
Professional garage door and residential/commercial entry door installation experience required.
Experience with commercial hollow metal doors and frames and commercial door hardware.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift 75+ lbs regularly, work on ladders and at heights, and work outdoors in South Florida conditions.
Must own hand and power tools and have a smartphone for company apps.

Responsibilities

Install residential and light commercial garage doors, including tracks, springs, cables, drums, rollers, and hardware.
Install and set up garage door operators.
Install residential and commercial entry doors, prehung exterior doors, and commercial hollow metal doors and frames.
Install thresholds, weatherstripping, locks, closers, and panic/exit hardware.
Level, balance, and finish completed systems.
Lead and train an installation helper.
Document jobs using company apps.
