Job summary

AG Smart Garage, a fast-growing, technology-driven garage door company serving the North Shore and Chicagoland, seeks energetic technicians in training. You’ll train with seasoned pros, learn premium installation of doors and openers, and start running your own calls after certification.

We offer paid training at $18–$23/hour during training, a path to $100K+ as a certified tech, health/dental/vision insurance, PTO and sick time, and a friendly team that values humility and accountability.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude; comfortable with tools.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work on ladders.
• Clear communication with customers in English.
• Available for a rotation including some weekends, holidays and evenings.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Genuinely nice, a team player, and humble.

Responsibilities

• Install new garage doors and openers.
• Present options to homeowners — and explain the why.
• Deliver a premium experience from the moment you pull up.
• Train alongside experienced technicians; after certification, run your own calls.
