ProLift Garage Doors is looking for a Garage Door Technician who will be responsible for garage door repairs, maintenance, and installation of both residential and light commercial garage doors. We are looking for driven and self-motivated individuals seeking a professional career with a nationally recognized corporation. The ideal candidates must possess interpersonal skills to thrive in this customer-focused environment. Be mechanically and technically inclined, outgoing, energetic, and service-oriented. In addition to the technical and mechanical skills, be able to repair/install garage doors. Garage Door Technician, Installer Responsibilities

• Must present themselves with a positive attitude and demonstrate excellent people skills. Can work autonomously with little direction.
• Dependable, on-time or early for company scheduled appointments.
• Repairing/Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and installing all types of residential and light commercial garage doors and operators.
• Maintains customer rapport by resolving concerns, answering questions and openly communicating with the customer.

Garage Door Technician, Installer Job requirements

• Requires exceptional customer service abilities to provide excellent client education for appropriate repair, maintenance, and needed upgrade services.
• Prefer a minimum of 1 year’s mechanical and/or garage door experience.
• Experienced in construction and field service skills.
• Mechanical skills.
• Ability to use a ladder, power/hand tools safely.
• Inventory and restock parts in the service vehicle.
• Physically able to move heavy objects and the ability to bend, climb, reach, kneel, etc.

Compensation

Salary: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour
