Job summary

Guild Garage Group, Kitsap Division, is seeking personable, mechanically inclined Garage Door Technicians in Bremerton, WA to join our growing team. We provide training, tools, and support to help you succeed, with a clear path for career advancement.

You’ll install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial doors and openers, diagnose issues, deliver five-star service, and document work with notes and photos. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn new skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving mindset.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial garage doors and openers.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with confidence.

• Training Pay: $30-35/hr during training
• Realistic Annual Earnings: $80,000–$150,000+

What You’ll Do

• Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial garage doors and openers
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with confidence
• Deliver five-star customer service with professionalism and empathy
• Maintain accurate documentation using notes, diagrams, and photos
• Ensure all work meets the highest safety and quality standards
• Recommend appropriate upgrades and services based on each customer’s needs—solutions, not pushy sales

What You Bring

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn—experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds, climb ladders, and use standard hand and power tools
• Strong communication skills and a positive, problem-solving mindset
• High school diploma or GED
