Job summary

Kitsap Garage Door, part of Guild Garage Group, is seeking personable, mechanically inclined Garage Door Technicians to join our Bremerton team. We provide training, tools, and support to help you succeed, with a company vehicle after training and a pathway for advancement.

Expect hands-on work installing, repairing, and maintaining doors/o͏ners, diagnosing issues, and delivering top-tier customer service while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn—experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, problem-solving mindset.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial garage doors and openers
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with confidence
• Deliver five-star customer service with professionalism and empathy
• Maintain accurate documentation using notes, diagrams, and photos
• Ensure all work meets the highest safety and quality standards
• Recommend appropriate upgrades and services based on each customer’s needs—solutions, not pushy sales

• Training Pay: $30-35/hr during training
• Realistic Annual Earnings: $80,000–$150,000+

What You’ll Do
