Job summary

Precision Garage Door Service is seeking a Garage Door Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and install door parts for customers in Rehoboth and surrounding areas. You’ll drive a company vehicle and work in the field with generous earning potential.

Training lasts 4–6 weeks with hourly pay, then a commission-based structure, with typical earnings between $60,000 and $100,000 per year. Prior garage door experience is not required—we train you.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Must be able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors and in garages that may not be temperature-controlled.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with customers.
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service garage door parts at customers' homes.
• Diagnose issues and repair or replace door operators and worn parts.
• Explain findings and present options to customers.
• Manage inventory in your vehicle and collect payment after services.
• Ensure safety and quality on every job.
