Job summary

Precision Garage Door Service is looking for a motivated Garage Door Technician to lead service visits, diagnose issues, and provide expert solutions directly at customers' homes. You will carry out repairs and replacements with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

You’ll work with a company-provided vehicle and tools, receiving ongoing training while earning between commission and base pay. Growth into leadership roles is encouraged within our performance-driven team.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Must be able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Work in heat and cold, both outside and inside garages that may not be temperature-controlled.
• Have interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers.
• Communicate and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Be reliable and able to serve our customers following our process.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair garage doors, door operators, and related parts on-site.
• Educate customers about repair options and ensure understanding of work performed.
• Sell services, repairs, and new equipment using a good/better/best model, and collect payment.
• Manage inventory and tools in the vehicle to properly service jobs.
