Job summary

Genie is seeking a Level 1 Customer Service Agent to provide professional, solution-focused support for Genie and Overhead Door residential garage door opener products. You will handle programming, installation guidance, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and warranty inquiries.

This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and data-entry skills, with the ability to learn product knowledge in a fast-paced contact center.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service, contact center, or technical support preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and explain technical product information.
• Ability to learn product knowledge and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service through telephone, email, chat, and other channels.
• Assist customers with Genie and Overhead Door programming, installation guidance, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting.
• Accurately document customer information and follow established call flows.
• De-escalate difficult interactions and maintain professionalism.
