Job summary

Banko Overhead Doors in Tampa, FL is seeking a Garage Door Installer to install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial overhead doors and openers. This fast-paced, hands-on role suits someone mechanically inclined who enjoys problem-solving and working outdoors.

Starting pay during training is $22 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and full-time benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), PTO and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on skills.
• Able to work full-time outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year MVR.
• Experience in garage doors, construction, framing, HVAC, or related trades preferred.
• Lift 70 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain overhead garage doors and openers.
• Use carpentry, mechanical skills, and hand/power tools.
• Drive to job sites and complete assigned work orders.
• Inspect and ensure proper function of all mechanical/electronic componentsli>
• Communicate with customers to provide excellent service.
• Document completed work and maintain parts inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe work site and company vehicle.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Garage Door Installer, you will install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial overhead garage doors and openers. This role is fast-paced, hands-on, and perfect for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys problem-solving and working outdoors. *Note: During training period all Installers start at $22/hr*
