Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years’ experience in garage doors, construction, electrical, HVAC, or related trade.
• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work outdoors.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Comfortable with face-to-face customer interaction and upselling when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial garage doors and openers.
• Complete installations and service jobs using hand and power tools safely.
• Drive to customer locations, assess service needs, and recommend solutions.
• Test door systems, safety sensors, and electronic components for proper function.
• Document completed work, materials used and maintain inventory.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and company vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide solution-based recommendations.
• Review work orders for accuracy before leaving job sites.
• Work closely with management and report any job-site issues promptly.

ABOUT THE JOB
