Job summary

Banko Overhead Doors LLC in Orlando is seeking a Garage Door Installer to install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial overhead doors and openers. This fast-paced, outdoor role suits someone mechanically inclined who enjoys problem-solving and direct client interaction.

During training, all installers start at $22 per hour. The position offers full-time hours and opportunities for advancement, with benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), PTO, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanically inclined and hands-on skillset.
• Able to work full-time outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year MVR.
• Experience in garage doors or related trades preferred.
• Able to lift 70+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain overhead garage doors and openers.
• Use carpentry, mechanical skills, and hand/power tools.
• Drive to job sites and complete assigned work orders.
• Inspect and ensure proper function of mechanical/electronic components.
• Communicate with customers to provide excellent service.
• Document completed work and maintain parts inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe work site and company vehicle.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Garage Door Installer, you will install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial overhead garage doors and openers. This role is fast-paced, hands-on, and perfect for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys problem-solving and working outdoors. *Note: During training period all Installers start at $22/ hr *
