• Lift up to 50 pounds and operate parking equipment safely.
• Assist with maintenance of ticket dispensers and payment machines.
• Report damage or maintenance needs to garage manager.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• Communicate effectively with staff and visitors.
• Direct traffic to cashier/exit as needed.

Position Summary

The Garage Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining a clean and safe environment in a parking garage, including cleaning and sweeping floors, emptying trash cans, and performing other cleaning duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sweep floors using various cleaning equipment, including brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners.
• Empty trash cans and disposal of trash per established procedures.
• Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Ensure supplies are kept in stock/organized
• Ability to lift and operate a leaf blower
• Assist with the maintenance of parking equipment, including ticket dispensers and payment machines.
• Report any damage or maintenance needs to the garage manager.
• Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required .
• Communicate effectively with other garage staff and visitors.
• Direct traffic to cashier/exit as needed

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements: High School or GED
• Years of Experience : Entry Level
• Language Skills: Proficient in English, both verbally and written

Requirements:

• Use manual dexterity to operate parking equipment, including POF machines, garage gates, and location-specific equipment.
