Job summary

SP+ Corporation seeks a proactive Garage Attendant for The Edition in Miami Beach. You will help direct traffic, monitor capacity, and keep the facility clean and welcoming for guests.

You will assist guests, handle basic math, stay compliant with policies, and coordinate with the Facility Manager for specialized needs. Flexible shifts and professional appearance are required.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: No high school diploma is required; at least one month of related experience or equivalent.
• License Requirement: Valid state-issued driver’s license required only if driving a company vehicle.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic math and handling American currency.
• Communication Skills: Read/write simple instructions and present information to customers.
• Availability: Shift variability; may require 2nd/3rd shift and/or weekends.
• Appearance: Neat, clean, uniformed appearance.

Responsibilities

• Traffic & Capacity Management: Direct customers to spaces and monitor counts for optimal lot usage.
• Compliance & Enforcement: Patrol garage levels and issue warnings for policy violations.
• Customer Support: Assist customers with questions and directions; refer to Facility Manager for specialized help.
• Maintenance & Safety: Assist with parking equipment repairs and report hazards.
• Operational Support: Control traffic at entrances/exits during peak times; substitute for Valets as needed.
• Local Expertise: Know garage layout and local streets/landmarks.

Responsibilities

Position: Garage Attendant

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr

Location: The Edition - Miami Beach

Flexible schedule preferred.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth flow of traffic, monitoring capacity, and maintaining a clean and professional environment for our customers. You will serve as a key point of contact for guests while ensuring the facility operates at peak efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

• Traffic & Capacity Management: Direct incoming customers to available spaces and monitor vehicle counts throughout the shift to ensure optimal lot usage.

• Compliance & Enforcement: Patrol parking levels (on foot or in motor carts) and issue violation warnings to those who bypass garage policies.

• Customer Support: Courteously assist customers with questions, directions, and vehicle location. Direct guests to the Facility Manager when specialized assistance is needed.

• Maintenance & Safety: Assist with parking equipment repairs and general facility upkeep. Report accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences (like oil spills or debris) to the office immediately.

• Operational Support: Control traffic at entrances and exits during peak times. Substitute for Valets when authorized and necessary.

• Local Expertise: Maintain a thorough knowledge of the garage layout, as well as major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the surrounding area

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education & Experience: No high school diploma is required. We welcome candidates with at least one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and background.

• License Requirement: A valid state‑issued driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record is only required if you are expected to drive a company vehicle or conduct company business.

• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and accurately handle American currency.

• Communication Skills: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, write short correspondence, and effectively present information to customers and team members.

• Availability: Shift requirements vary by location. Flexibility to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends may be required.

• Appearance: Must maintain a neat, clean appearance and wear the complete company uniform at all times.
