Under direct clinical supervision of the on-site physician, the candidate assists in patient care, performs delegated medical tasks, and may handle clerical duties. The role involves utilizing EMR systems for documentation and participating in daily operations under supervision.

Education and Experience

• Currently enrolled in medical school taking a one-year gap year.
• CPR certification is required.

Essential Functions

• Gather and document patient history and chief complaints in the medical record/EMR.
• Follow clinic workflows to ensure efficiency and timely patient service.
• Prepare patients for examinations, perform and document vital signs, and report abnormal findings.
• Conduct routine clinic tests following established protocols.
• Provide patient education materials as directed by the physician.
• Show compassion and empathy towards patients and families.
