Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field completed before start date.
• Interested in pursuing medical school or PA school.
• Available to work full-time for a minimum of 14 months.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient typing, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; strong computer skills.
• Professional demeanor and respect for patient privacy.
• Willingness to travel to alternate Tareen Dermatology clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits and escort them to examination rooms.
• Interview patients and verify medical history, medications, vital signs, and visit purpose.
• Document medical histories, exams, assessments, and treatment plans with providers.
• Record clinical visits and procedures in the EMR under the provider’s direction.
• Ensure clinical data, lab results, and provider interpretations are accurately recorded.
• Generate and submit orders as directed by the provider.
• Communicate pathology results and clinical information to patients as directed.
• Answer and return patient calls promptly and professionally.
• Perform site preparation and post-procedure patient instructions per physician orders.
• Travel to alternate clinic locations when required.
