Gannón Operator

Rummel Construction, Inc. is a heavy civil general contractor specializing in mass excavation and grading.

This safety-sensitive position is responsible for operating a Gannón, with knowledge of hazards and safety precautions, and awareness of cut/fill operations for a variety of projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Reporting defects or needed repairs to supervisors daily.

Minimum qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in the construction industry operating heavy equipment.
• Experience in earthmoving and heavy construction with knowledge of cut/fill operations across various projects.
• Experience in finish ABC, drainage, landscape grading, or reestablishment with a grade tractor in residential, commercial, and paving environments.
• Ability to understand grading stakes, guidelines on ground, and position equipment accordingly.
