Job summary

Light & Wonder is seeking an SDET in Reno, NV to join our Gaming team. You will develop and execute tests on new and existing game themes and operating systems under guidance from a Senior Engineer/Manager to ensure functional, technical, and regulatory compliance and high product quality.

The role requires deriving SQA plans, test scripts, and collaboration using Visual Studio, C/C++, Linux, and Jira in a fast-paced gaming environment. Bachelor's degree in engineering or CS is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in deriving SQA plans/cases from system requirements.
• Knowledge and experience using Visual Studio
• Knowledge and experience with C and/or C++
• Knowledge and experience using Linux/Unix
• Software Test methodologies and Product Development lifecycle
• Automation experience a plus
• Gaming industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Under a Senior Engineer/ Manager supervision; identify test cases, develop and execute test plans and test scripts for new and existing game themes and operating systems
• Follow requirements and directions provided by Senior Engineer/ Manager
• Utilize all required databases for SQE functions and testing
• Introduction and overview of software test methodologies/procedures and overall product development lifecycle
• Assist in reproduction of issues, when necessary, to assist software development in resolving issues
• Utilize all required tools/databases for carrying out necessary functions and testing
