Job summary

Light & Wonder in Reno seeks an Associate Game Hardware Technician to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Electronic Gaming Machines and related hardware in our testing lab.

You will support engineers, manage inventories, wire networks for testing environments, and assist with facility maintenance in a fast-paced, security-conscious setting. This is a full‑time, on‑site role at our Reno studio, 5 days per week.

Qualifications

• College coursework preferred toward Electronics or CS degree.
• Minimum 1 year electrical/electronic experience.
• Experience as Gaming Technician or Slot Technician is a plus.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware operation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Electronic Gaming Machines and related hardware.
• Perform hardware troubleshooting from assembly to network inputs (switches, routers).
• Provide day-to-day and remote technical support for test engineers.
• Maintain and manage support/replacement part inventories and lab wiring.
