Job summary

GameStop is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (Store 7647) in Massena, NY to support the Store Manager across all store operations. You will drive sales by sharing product knowledge, ensuring a clean and organized store, and delivering outstanding guest service experiences.

This role supervises Sales Associates in the Store Manager’s absence and contributes to achieving sales and guest satisfaction goals. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and greet guests promptly.
• Support the store environment, current sales initiatives, and guest relationships.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS system accurately.
• Respond to guest questions in person or by phone and escalate issues when needed.
• Promote GameStop’s guest benefits and loyalty programs.
• Supervise store staff in the absence of the Store Manager.
