Job summary

GameStop is looking for a dedicated Retail Keyholder in Hillside, New Jersey. This role involves providing best-in-class guest service, supporting the shopping environment, and ensuring accurate processing of transactions. The Retail Keyholder will also assist in achieving store sales goals and maintaining inventory.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior retail experience is preferred. GameStop offers a competitive pay of $16.42 - $19.17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to work alone, stand, and move throughout the store unassisted for up to 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service, greet guests promptly, and address their needs.
• Support the overall shopping environment and nurture guest relationships.
• Process guest purchases and returns accurately via the POS system.
• Address guest comments or questions promptly and courteously.
• Promote GameStop’s guest benefits such as the Pro Rewards program.
• Ensure all areas of the store are clean and organized.
• Complete Omnichannel orders daily and safeguard company assets.
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure proper merchandising.
• Meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrink goals.
• Check shipments for discrepancies and process recalls.
