Job summary

GameStop is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for Store 5932 in Temple, PA. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, lead sales associates, and ensure excellent guest service in a busy, on-site retail environment.

The role requires a strong customer focus, leadership ability, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Prior retail management experience is preferred and a passion for gaming is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, answer questions, and promote promotions.
• Manage POS transactions, returns, and receipts with accuracy.
• Promote loyalty programs and store initiatives to drive sales and guest loyalty.
• Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, stocked, and compliant with policies.
• Assist with payroll, scheduling, and attendance to optimize staffing.
