Job summary

Bitus Labs is seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst to drive product and business decisions through data. You will transform large-scale game data into actionable insights, design experiments, and support strategic decisions across game operations and product development.

The role requires strong statistical thinking, hands-on data handling with Python and SQL, and expertise in game analytics. On-site work in Irvine, CA is required, and fluency in Chinese is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Product Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and exploratory data analysis.
• Strong SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing large-scale datasets.
• Experience with big data technologies and distributed processing frameworks, preferably PySpark.
• Strong understanding of statistics, probability, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
• Hands-on experience designing, executing, and evaluating A/B tests.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Experience building dashboards with Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of product metrics and data-driven product development.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in Chinese (Required).
• Must be able to work on-site in Irvine, CA 92618.

Responsibilities

• Product Analytics & Business Insights: Analyze player behavior and metrics to identify opportunities for product improvement.
• Partner with Product Managers, Game Designers, and Operations teams to define questions and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Develop KPI frameworks and performance measurement systems to evaluate product health and business performance.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on player segments, conversion funnels, feature adoption, monetization behavior, and user journeys.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical approaches and actionable insights.
