Job summary

Mystic Lake Casino Hotel is seeking an Environmental Services Area Supervisor to guide the custodial team responsible for cleaning the SMSC Gaming Enterprise facilities. This role ensures a safe, welcoming environment for guests when they are gaming, while upholding high standards of service and professionalism.

You will lead and develop staff, inspect areas for compliance, and coordinate with operations on special cleaning tasks and maintenance requests.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school graduate or GED.
Two years specialized supervisor or two years building maintenance experience.
Knowledge of HAZCOM and blood-borne pathogens.
Beginning experience with word-processing, spreadsheets, presentation, electronic mail software.
Valid driver’s license may be required with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

Prepares, directs and supervises team assignments for cleaning of facilities.
Inspects all gaming zones, public areas, team member areas, and facilities according to standards.
Ensures optimum guest service delivery and positive guest interaction.
Enforces policies and procedures (appearance, conduct, safety, etc.).
Coordinates team members to accomplish additional cleaning tasks and orders.
Participates in performance appraisals, hiring and promotions.
Develops team members for a positive environment and job satisfaction.
Supervises maintenance work orders and inventory control.
