Job summary

Activision Publishing, Inc. invites master’s or PhD students to join a 12-week User Research Data Analytics internship in the US. Work on real telemetry, build dashboards with JavaScript and Apache ECharts, and collaborate with game teams on actionable insights.

In-person, relocation options available, and housing stipends provided to support living expenses. You will learn from industry experts, tackle diverse datasets, and contribute to research reports while developing reusable analytics

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a master’s or PhD degree program and graduating December 2027 – June 2028.
• 12-week internship starting in mid-May or mid-June.
• Currently residing in the US or open to relocating to the US.
• Exhibits learning agility and ability to apply new skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with User Research study leads and game teams to turn telemetry data into insights.
• Query, join, validate, and summarize play test datasets using SQL.
• Build and maintain visualizations and dashboards using JavaScript and Apache ECharts.
• Translate research questions into defined analyses and communicate results clearly.
• Help improve reusable queries, metrics, and visualization workflows.
