Light & Wonder in Las Vegas is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the build pipeline and tools team for a next-generation gaming platform. You will guide CI/CD, asset pipelines, and developer tooling, partnering with game studios and platform teams to deliver reliable builds across platforms.

The role requires 8+ years in software, 3+ years in management, and strong skills in Jenkins, Perforce/Git and Unity/Unreal.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years software development, with significant CI/CD and pipeline focus.
• 3+ years engineering management, hiring and mentoring.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, build systems, source control and automation.
• Proficiency in C++, C#, Python or similar.
• Deep understanding of Jenkins, Perforce/Git and on-prem build infra.
• Experience with Unity or Unreal or equivalent game engines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor team members.
• Experience building cross-platform solutions is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for CI/CD, build system, and asset pipeline.
• Define the technical strategy and roadmap for build infrastructure and tooling.
• Own and evolve the CI/CD pipeline across platforms for fast, reliable releases.
• Develop and optimize asset pipelines for game content delivery.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows with test automation.
• Collaborate with GDK engineers, platform teams, and game studios to improve workflows.
• Ensure infrastructure and tools are reliable, scalable, and maintainable.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve development efficiency and quality.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies.
