Job summary

Main Event is seeking a Games Attendant to energize the games floor and deliver FUN memories for Guests in Fayetteville, AL. You’ll provide knowledgeable game recommendations, ensure safety and stock, and collaborate with the Technical Team to keep games in top shape.

Ideal candidates are tech-savvy, guest-focused, and team players who communicate well with guests and staff, with availability for days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset and friendly demeanor.
• Savvy with technology and quick learner.
• Teamwork is essential in a collaborative environment.
• Able to communicate effectively with management, team members and guests.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and stock games and equipment to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Provide exceptional guest service and create memorable experiences.
• Explain game rules and assist with point redemption questions.
• Perform minor repairs on games and laser tag vests as needed.
• Report wear-and-tear or damage to the Technical Team.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards and represent FUN to guests.
• Open, mid-day, or closing duties as required.

Job Description:

At Main Event, our Games Attendants are at the center of the action on our games floor! As a Games Attendant, you are technologically savvy, outgoing, and know how to create FUN memories for our Guests! You are knowledgeable about all our games and entertainment options and can make recommendations based on a Guest's interests and needs. You monitor event activities, safety protocols, and make redemption suggestions so our Guests can take home the best prizes!

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Monitoring activities such as Laser Tag, Mini Golf, Gravity Ropes, Escape Rooms, Gel Blasters, and Rock Climbing to ensure they are stocked, clean and safe
• Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service
• Making sure the games and Winner's Choice are clean and stocked
• Assisting Guests with questions regarding point redemption
• Performing minor repairs to games and laser tag vests
• Partnering with the Technical Team to report wear-and-tear and damage to games or equipment (communication is key!)
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcome and engage with all guests while being an ambassador of FUN!
• Performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in a similar role a plus, but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Savvy with technology and a willingness to learn new things
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights and/or weekends
