Job summary

Discord Inc. is seeking a software engineer to join the Developer Success team. You’ll build features for game developers across the Discord app, developer portal, APIs, realtime infrastructure, and Social SDK.

You’ll collaborate with engineers to write, review, and ship scalable code used by millions of people, own projects end-to-end, and translate ideas into concrete tasks while learning new languages as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of software engineer experience.
• Experience in game development.
• Familiarity with Python, Elixir, Rust, TS/React, or C++ and ability to learn new languages.

Responsibilities

• Build features for game developers across the Discord app, developer portal, APIs, realtime infrastructure, and Social SDK.
• Collaborate with engineers to write, review, and ship scalable code used by millions.
• Own projects end-to-end from design to post-launch, turning high-level ideas into concrete tasks.
