Job summary

Walk-On's in Tuscaloosa is seeking a part-time server to deliver championship-level guest service. You will take orders, run food, and assist with takeout, all while maintaining a clean dining area and a positive, team-driven attitude.

Some experience is preferred but not required—training is provided. You must be 18+, able to read training materials in English, and able to work nights, weekends, and gameday events.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and meet state alcohol service requirements.
• Able to read training materials and follow English instructions.
• Restaurant experience preferred but not required; training provided.
• Stand, walk, and carry trays up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
• Strong communication and customer-focused attitude.
• Able to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Flexible schedule: nights, weekends, and gameday events.

Responsibilities

• Show up on time in uniform with a team-first attitude.
• Welcome guests, seat them, and ensure a great dining experience.
• Take orders, suggest menu items, provide prompt service.
• Follow Walk-On's steps of service to exceed guest expectations.
• Run food, clear tables, and keep dining areas clean.
• Handle takeout orders and ensure accurate To-Go meals.
• Process payments and operate the POS system.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the restaurant.
• Maintain a clean restaurant while staying upbeat.
• Support coworkers and management to keep the team winning.
