Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is seeking a dedicated and energetic Line Cook for a part-time role in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. You will follow safety guidelines, prep sheets, and Walk-On’s recipes while maintaining a clean station and accurate portioning. Reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Able to read recipes and prep sheets in English.
• Able to operate BOH equipment and prepare items as orders are registered.

Responsibilities

• Arrives to work on time, well-groomed in a clean uniform for every shift.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to help out where needed.
• Follows Walk-On’s safety, sanitation, and employee guidelines; completes daily line checklist.
• Sets up sani-buckets and maintains a clean work area during the shift.
• Adheres to recipes and procedures; prevents cross-contamination; checks in and rotates deliveries.
• Assists other employees to complete tasks; calibrates scales and thermometers; uses proper portioning.
