Smoking Gun Interactive is seeking a UI Implementor to design, execute, and implement game UI assets and animations for mobile and PC. Candidates should have a strong portfolio and shipped title experience, with proficiency in 2D art tools and major game engines.

This remote role is limited to applicants located in BC, ideally around Vancouver, who can collaborate with the team while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience developing interactive interfaces in game engine or web-based UI editors/tools.
• At least one shipped game title; an exceptional online portfolio of 2D UI work.
• Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design, Animation, Motion Graphics, or Illustration or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Unity, Unreal or other game engines.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement UI art and animations.
• Collaborate with UX, designers, and engineers to set up screens and animations.
• Create UI layouts and high-fidelity graphics with Lead Artist.
• Integrate assets and animations within editor across multiple platforms.
