Job summary

Puttshack is seeking an Electronic Game Support / Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair our interactive game hardware and software. The Game Technician ensures the course systems run safely and reliably, troubleshooting issues quickly, and coordinating with venue staff to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in technical support or maintenance, strong PC hardware skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical support or maintenance experience.
• Proficient with computer systems, technology and PC hardware installations.
• Ability to learn unique software and hardware systems that support the game.
• Familiarity with technical documentation; read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with electronic circuitry and testing equipment.
• Skilled in practical electronics and mechanics.
• Experience with using hand tools and small power tools.
• Guest-focused mindset; provide an excellent guest experience.
• Effective communication with management, peers, and guests.
• Strong problem solving and multitasking abilities.
• Flexible to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends; standing/walking for long periods.
• Post-offer background check acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the functionality of game technology and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues; document findings and resolutions.
• Coordinate with venue team to minimize downtime and ensure guest experience.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Perform routine maintenance on electronic components and mechanical subsystems.
