Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors in a friendly, positive manner.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on games and attractions.
  • Maintain inventory of game parts and supplies.
  • Ensure games are clean and presentable to guests.
  • Communicate clearly with guests and coworkers.
  • Attend required department meetings and training.

Experience with family entertainment centers is great, but not necessary.

POSITION SUMMARY

An Andretti Game Techisa part-time role responsible for anticipating guest needs, and exceeding guest service expectations all while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner.
  • Anticipate and respond to Guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
  • Perform repairs on games: Explains operation of games to Guests.
  • Continued inventory of electronics, game parts, tools etc.
  • Proper documentation of game issues, parts and work history.
  • Must be able to work alone and be a self-starter.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all aspects of the games, simulators and attractions.
  • Possess comfort with AV systems including movie sound, mobile video, projectors and control systems.
  • Must be able to use/read a volt/ohmmeter and a soldering gun.
  • Must be able to read schematics.
  • Stock and maintain inventory of all prize games.
  • Basic knowledge of computers systems and some general point of sale operations.
  • Rudimentary knowledge of troubleshooting computer hardware and computer peripherals.
  • Ensure all games are clean and presentable to Guests.
  • Observe, instruct and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
  • Assist with Guest recovery and notifies manager to ensure positive Guest experiences.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
  • Work as a team player in meeting guests’ needs, and actively contribute to the efforts of other departments.
  • Attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games policies and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
  • Perform Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to proper uniform guidelines according to Andretti Indoor Karting and Games.
  • Show eagerness to learn new skills and trades.
