Dance Reality is searching for a talented game programmer to design, develop, test, and release code for its upcoming VR/AR app, which helps people learn to dance from the comfort and privacy of their home.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and release software for a VR dance learning game, considering the unique technical challenges of VR hardware and platforms.

Work closely with other developers, designers, producers, and artists to understand gameplay requirements and implement engaging interactions, meeting deadlines and ensuring the highest quality.

Required Qualifications

Highly proficient in coding, algorithms, and data structures, with a solid understanding of performance considerations and resource constraints

Experience in game development, familiarity with game engines (e.g. Unity), and a thorough understanding of the entire game development lifecycle

Excellent communication skills. Ability to consistently meet deadlines

A strong interest to develop in VR/AR

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in game programming, computer science, computer engineering, or similar

Experience in VR/AR development

Deeper knowledge in one or more game development areas, such as 3d math, shader development, advanced rendering, multi-player, character animation, parallel processing…

A passion for dance or other body movement activities (martial arts, yoga, gymnastics…)

This is a project-scoped, part-time or full-time assignment for a freelancer working remotely.
