Job summary

The Detroit Pistons are seeking energetic individuals to join the Motor City Cruise Game Night Entertainment Staff. This part-time, event-based role supports contests, promotions, performances, mascots, and other elements of the game-day presentation during home games and events.

As a team member, you will help prepare on-court games, coordinate audience participation, and engage fans to create a memorable arena experience. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Positive, energetic personality with a passion for engaging with fans.
• Dependable and on-time for scheduled games and events.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced live-event environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to support teammates and adapt to changing plans.
• Experience in live events or customer-facing roles preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and execution of on-court games, contests, promotions, and fan activations.
• Assist with selecting, organizing, and preparing audience members to participate in contests and other in-game activities.
• Coordinate live entertainment elements during pregame, halftime, timeouts, and other game breaks.
• Engage fans to create an exciting, welcoming game-day environment.
• Serve as a positive brand ambassador for the Motor City Cruise and Detroit Pistons.
• Welcome and coordinate performers including national anthem, DJs, in-arena hosts, mascots.
• Distribute giveaways, promotions, and prizes during games.
• Support in-stand promotions and fan engagement throughout the arena.
• Assist in-arena host and mascot with appearances and game-day duties.
• Communicate with Game Director, Show Caller, and production staff.
• Assist with additional duties and special projects as assigned.
