Job summary

SciPlay is seeking a Product Manager, Economy to be the economic brain behind our games. You will design currencies, sources and sinks, progression, and virtual goods pricing, with metrics to show health.

You will run weekly tunings, build simulations, forecast content and pricing changes, and run A/B tests. You’ll collaborate with LiveOps, Monetization, Analytics, Marketing and Engineering to support game goals and present leadership with clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in game economy, F2P product management or a closely related analytical role.
• Advanced spreadsheet modeling (Excel or Sheets) for balance models and simulations.
• Working knowledge of statistics and probability and Monte Carlo simulations.
• Python or R for analysis and modeling.
• Hands-on experience designing and reading A/B tests.
• Understanding of behavioral economics and player motivation.
• Background in mobile, online or social free-to-play games.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of the game economy: currencies, sources and sinks, progression, and the pricing of virtual goods; include KPIs for health.
• Tune the economy week to week: feature configurations, rewards, level progression, bonus values and offer contents; use data/experiments to fine-tune.
• Build simulations and predictive models to forecast content, pricing and balance changes before release.
• Plan, run and read A/B tests on economy and pricing changes; translate results into recommendations.
• Define player segments and tailor economy parameters to each segment.
• Own monitoring of economy health (balances, inflation, source/sink ratios, conversion) and act on anomalies.
• Partner with Product, Design, Analytics, Marketing and Engineering to support game goals; present recommendations to senior leadership.
