Job summary

Hawk-Eye Innovations (HEI) is seeking a College Sports Systems Technician to support live-game technology services at Big Ten venues. This on-site, part-time contractor role requires availability for home games and often long days around game schedules.

Training and exposure to our systems will be provided to enable day-to-day tasks and professional growth. Responsibilities include hardware/software setup, pre-game checks, on-site coordination with officials and broadcasters, and ongoing system

Qualifications

• Broadcast/engineering background with understanding of signal flow is preferred.
• Strong technical grounding is required.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays in a live-broadcast environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the setup of SMART replay & medical systems (hardware and software).
• Conducting pre-game checks of systems per standard procedures.
• Coordinating with officials, broadcasters and Hawk-Eye staff on-site and remotely.
• Monitoring and maintaining technology during games.
• Maintaining hardware and equipment throughout the season.
• Off-season work to build and maintain hardware and equipment.
• Assisting with installation and testing of new products and services.
