Job summary

Hawk-Eye Innovations is seeking a College Sports Systems Technician to support live-game operations at Rutgers University, delivering cutting-edge technology across multiple sports. This part-time contractor role requires home-game availability this season, long days on set, and weekend work as events occur.

Qualifications

• Broadcast/engineering background with understanding of signal flow.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work on your own initiative.
• Strong time management skills in a high pressure, live broadcast environment.
• Ability to communicate with clients and customers professionally.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Acceptance that work will occur on weekends/federal holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the set-up of the SMART replay & medical systems (hardware and software).
• Conducting pre-game checks of the systems per procedures.
• Coordinating with officials, broadcasters and Hawk-Eye staff on-site and remotely.
• Monitoring and maintaining the technology during games.
• Maintaining hardware and equipment throughout the season.
• Periodic off-season work for building and maintaining equipment.
• Assisting with installation and testing of new products and services.
