Job summary

Notre Dame Bookstore is seeking a Seasonal Game Day Associate to join during football season. This temporary, part-time role supports store operations with weekly pay and flexible duties across departments.

You will help customers, ring up transactions, stock merchandise, and stay compliant with safety procedures. Ideal candidates bring strong customer service, basic math and data entry skills, and a reliable weekend schedule (home games Thursday–Sunday).

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
• Flexible availability, especially during game weekends.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Available to work every home football weekend (Thursday through Sunday).
• Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient customer service.
• Operate a cash register and handle transactions.
• Assist customers on the sales floor by answering questions, locating merchandise, and maintaining a clean, organized shopping environment.
• Support back-room operations, including receiving, stocking, organizing, and replenishing merchandise.
• Restock sales floor merchandise as needed to maintain product availability and presentation standards.
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with managers and fellow associates to ensure smooth store operations.
• Perform additional duties and assist in other departments as assigned to support business needs.
