Job summary

Chatham University seeks a responsible, organized lead student supervisor for game day operations at the Athletic and Fitness Center. You will oversee event staff, coordinate with officials and coaches, ensure equipment readiness, and resolve on-site issues as assigned by the supervisor.

The role requires in-person work with variable hours including nights and weekends. Training sessions will be provided by the Career Development Office. Dress code and campus work policies apply.

Qualifications

• Must supervise game day staff including clock/score table personnel.
• Serve as primary liaison between game staff, coaches, officials, and Athletic Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision for game day staff and ensure all roles (scoreboard operator, scorekeeper, line judge, etc.) are filled and functioning.
• Oversee setup and breakdown of equipment and game operations areas.
• Act as liaison during events between staff and coaches/officials.
• Monitor event timing and troubleshoot game management issues.
• Adhere to event protocols, dress code, and professional conduct.
