Job summary

Southwest Tennessee Community College is seeking a part‑time Game Day Operations Attendant for the Athletics department. The role supports setup, operation, and breakdown of events, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for student‑athletes, coaches, officials, visiting teams, and spectators.

The position is a work‑study opportunity open to registered SWCC students eligible for Federal Work Study, with duties including game day prep, ticketing, and media support.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered student at Southwest Tennessee Community College.
• Only students approved for Federal Work Study are qualified for this position.
• Commitment to evenings, weekends, and athletic event days as needed.
• Basic knowledge of computers, cameras, video equipment, or athletic event operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and breakdown of athletic facilities before and after games and events.
• Prepare game day areas, including benches, scorer’s tables, signage, equipment, and spectator areas.
• Help with game day check‑in and provide support to student‑athletes and staff.
• Assist with concession stand operations and ticket booth activities.
• Serve as table staff for assigned sports and support scoreboard and statistics.
• Assist with video recording, photography, and game documentation.
• Operate basic game day equipment as trained.
• Maintain clean, organized athletic facilities and assist with crowd management.
• Provide professional customer service to participants and spectators.
• Support special events, tournaments, and other athletic activities as assigned.
