Job summary

The University of North Florida Athletics Department is seeking a Part-Time Facilities Staff member to support facility operations, event setup and breakdown, and general maintenance activities. This role helps prepare athletic venues for special events.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, lift up to 50 pounds, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up and breaking down athletic events, including tables, chairs, signage, barricades, tents, and equipment.
• Prepare competition venues for special events.
• Assist with field and court preparation before, during, and after events.
• Support event day operations staff with crowd management and event logistics.
• Help ensure all venues are ready and meet operational standards.
• Perform routine facility inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Assist with cleaning and upkeep of athletic facilities, common areas, and event spaces.
• Move, transport, and store equipment and supplies.
• Assist with inventory and organization of athletic equipment and storage areas.
• Support facility improvements and special projects as assigned.
