Qualifications

• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-of-house catering operations for UNC Chapel Hill events.
• Coordinate event setup, service, and breakdown to meet standards.
• Serve as on-site contact for clients, vendors, and staff.
• Review event orders and communicate details and staffing needs.
• Supervise captains, servers, bartenders, and support staff.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, food presentation, and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with culinary, warehouse, transportation, and operations teams.
• Train, mentor, and coach hourly staff on standards and safety.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly.
• Conduct post-event cleanup, inventory return, and venue restoration.
