Job summary

GamCare in London is seeking a Gambling Support Practitioner to manage a caseload and deliver person-centred psychosocial interventions to adults experiencing gambling-related harm.

You will assess, plan recovery, support safeguarding, and provide accessible support through face-to-face and remote delivery, within GamCare’s Model of Care. The role requires qualifications or experience in health, psychology, or social care, with an empathic style and ability to work with MDTs.

Qualifications

• Requires qualifications or experience in health, psychology, social care, or a relevant field.
• Experience managing varied caseloads with complex needs.
• Ability to deliver psychosocial interventions using CBT-informed and motivational approaches.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatment and manage caseloads using psychosocial interventions.
• Assess risk and safeguarding concerns and maintain safety plans.
• Develop recovery plans and monitor service user progress.
• Maintain high-quality, audit-ready records and contribute to data collection.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to provide coordinated care.
• Engage in supervision and ongoing professional development.
