Legacy Treatment Services seeks a Gambling Disorder Clinician to provide comprehensive treatment and case management to individuals with gambling disorder and co‑occurring mental health and/or substance use disorders, integrating gambling‑specific interventions into ongoing care.

The role covers screening, assessment, treatment planning, individual/group/family therapy (CBT/DBT/MI), psychoeducation, and recovery support, with a focus on recovery and coordinated care within a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• CADC or LCADC with LAC/LPC/LCSW/LSW licensure required.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with gambling disorders, SUD, or MH issues preferred.

Responsabilités

• Screening and assessment using the Brief Psychosocial Gambling Screen (BPGS) at intake and full assessments for at‑risk individuals.
• Develop and integrate gambling‑specific treatment plans addressing gambling and co‑occurring MH/SUD issues.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using CBT, DBT, and MI.
• Conduct psychoeducation sessions on gambling disorder for consumers and families.
• Facilitate recovery support connections (Gamblers Anonymous, SMART Recovery, financial counseling, peer recovery).
• Assist with social, financial, and legal consequences and connect to community resources.
• Maintain clinical documentation and comply with state reporting requirements.
• Participate in DMHAS‑sponsored training including the 30‑hour gambling‑specific training at Rutgers University.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and liaise with external agencies.
