Job summary

AZZ Inc. in Hurst, TX is seeking a first shift production worker to support the galvanizing process under the supervision of the Operations Manager.

You will tie and prepare material for tanks, operate and inspect equipment, and assist with training of new helpers while maintaining safety and quality. Responsibilities include tying materials to racks, preparing for pickling tanks, and keeping the work area clean and compliant with company policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must work in a non-climate controlled facility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with hand tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tie or assist with tying material onto racks for galvanizing process.
• Prepare material for pickling tanks using training methods.
• Inspect equipment prior to use and report issues.
• Rack and unrack materials; assist with torch drying if needed.
• Maintain clean and organized production area and follow safety rules.
