Job summary

AZZ Inc. has a 1st shift production worker role at its Hurst facility. You will help handle and clean material through the galvanizing process to meet customer commitments, under the supervision of the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include tying material onto racks, preparing for pickling tanks, operating equipment, and assisting with training while following safety rules and procedures. No climate control makes this a physically engaging role.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a non-climate controlled facility.
• Experience using hand tools is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Tie material onto racks for galvanizing process and assist with handling.
• Inspect equipment and materials for quality and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area.
• Assist with training new production helpers as needed.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
