Job summary

AZZ Inc. in Houston, TX, is seeking a production worker to support galvanizing operations. You will tie and prep material, operate equipment, inspect outputs, and keep the production area clean while following safety rules and policies.

You will report to the Operations Manager and help prepare parts for finishing, with duties ranging from rack handling to material inspection and housekeeping. This role requires physical stamina and attention to quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled facility
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent is required

Responsibilities

• Tie or assist with tying material onto racks for safe movement through galvanizing process.
• Tie material to bow racks or other tooling using wire.
• Assist in rack preparation for pickling tanks.
• Operate and inspect equipment (forklifts, cranes, tooling) for safe usage.
• Assist with training new production helpers as directed by management.
• Perform housekeeping to keep production area clean and organized.
