Qualifications

• Experience in a museum or gallery setting.
• A background in managing gallery programs, exhibitions, or collections is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, curate, and schedule exhibitions and related events for each academic year.
• Oversee the Collections Policy and the Collections Committee for acquisitions.
• Oversee advisory committees that assist in gallery activities.
• Collaborate with the Arader Academic Coordinator to utilize the Arader Natural History Art Collection for education.
• Assist with grant writing to support the gallery program.
• Attend University and Advancement events on behalf of the Gallery and Permanent Art Collection.
• Provide tours, lectures, and outreach programs to the Brenau community.
• Propose, implement, and manage the gallery budget.
• Direct physical exhibition needs including shipping, insurance, and installation.
